      This is my DIY automatic coop door. It is a power car antenna fastened to a piece of beadboard paneling. Outside corner paneling pieces form the rail. The power supplies are 12V 5W computer display PS from eBay. I used a wiring harness from the auto parts store for the quick disconnect, and put a fuse in as well. The simulated radio power comes from a Kasa Smart WiFi Outdoor Plug, so the opening and closing of the door are scheduled to happen automatically based on sunrise/sunset.
